With a much broader offering than ever before, enabled by investments in engineering talent and tools, Sagent is proud to announce the rebranding of its “repair operations center” as the Technical Solutions Center (TSC).
Led by Sagent’s Vice President, Curtis Faulkner, the state-of-the-art TSC, grew 57% during its most recent expansion to the facility in Coppell, Texas. This is in addition to Sagent’s operations in Rialto, California. Combined, Faulkner’s technical team operates over 33,000 square feet of solution-focused space using a wide range of capabilities, such as a full electrostatic discharge (ESD) environment, 3D design & rapid prototyping, automated precision radio frequency (RF) troubleshooting and repair tools, and extended environmental testing.
As a recent example of Sagent’s responsive technical capabilities, the TSC received antennas, designed/engineered a new comprehensive test plan, implemented a safe and efficient test program, and had the antennas back on the road within 15 days — far exceeding customer expectations in cost, schedule, and performance.
Most TSC programs go beyond standard depot repair services, a point the Sagent team wears like a badge of honor. Sagent’s VP of the TSC said, “The capability of our TSC has expanded over the twenty years that we have been supporting the communications and specialty electronics market. What started off as repair services has grown to include services such as engineering consulting, test process development, new product compatibility testing, and component redesign enabled by my high-quality team.”
The TSC is equipped with environmental testing chambers, core network emulators, automated rework systems, and robotic PCB probing systems, allowing Sagent’s team of certified technicians to perform functional system level testing and repair at a component level.
