Corporate Sustainability
Environmental sustainability is a priority for Sagent, and we work to incorporate our environmentally focused policies into our daily business as well as the services we provide for our global customer base.
Internal environmentally sustainable business practices include –
Waste Diversion: Sagent is certified under the international standard for environmental management systems (ISO 14001:2015). This certification requires Sagent to conform to strict guidelines for establishing an environmental policy and determining environmental impacts of our business. To comply we closely manage the recycling of paper, cardboard, and e-waste.
Sustainable Procurement: Sagent conducts its procurement in an open and competitive manner, using fair and ethical business practices, to ensure sustainable measures are a priority.

Customer Sustainability Solutions
Deploying Sagent certified preowned equipment - The redeployment of communications equipment, that has been certified by Sagent, reduces downstream waste that would have been created if this equipment was scrapped. In addition, by reusing equipment we help to lower the environmental impact caused by the manufacturing of new equipment.
Delivering asset recovery services - Sagent provides deinstallation services to remove unwanted communications equipment from the network, manages all logistics activity to consolidate the equipment into a central location, preforms detailed technical screening and refurbishment services, and then remarkets and resells the equipment. Remarketing and reselling this equipment, rather than scrapping, completely removes all downstream e-waste.
Providing repair services – failed communications equipment that enters the scrap process creates e-waste and causes the need for new equipment to be manufactured which has a negative impact the environmental. Sagent’s high yield repair process allows failed communications equipment to be returned to a usable state and redeployed, thus avoiding the creation of e-waste and the manufacturing process.

Operating across North America and Europe, we instill a culture of health-conscious leadership who are committed to our core values. We understand the importance of work/life balance, and most recently the related impacts of COVID-19. During this time, employees were encouraged to work remotely, and extra staff was hired to continuously sanitize all work environments for those whose jobs are unable to be performed off site. Several times during 2020, the entire Sagent headquarters in Coppell, TX underwent a complete and extensive sanitization process to ensure employees and visitors remained health at all times.
