New Repair and Technical Facility Enables Accelerated Growth, Faster Repair Times & Alternatives for Chip Shortages
RIALTO, CA – September 30, 2021 – Sagent, a global provider of communications network equipment, repair solutions and maintenance services, is proud to announce the opening of their newest repair and technical facility in Rialto, California. The state-of-the-art facility represents a regional expansion of Sagent’s repair services and provides full ESD compliance, experienced technicians and engineering resources. Services include system, board and component level testing and repair solutions, all backed by Sagent’s 20 years of repair experience.
In addition to the corporate headquarters in Coppell, Texas, the new facility doubles the footprint of Sagent’s existing repair capabilities. This enables greater throughput as customer needs rapidly shift away from purchasing new equipment and toward repairing and redeploying their hardware. These strategies reduce costs and circumvent longer new products lead times as a result of the global chip shortage and supply chain disruptions.
